The History of Ca 'del Crutin

The structure was born in the rolling hills of the Roero in 1940 and takes its name from the typical excavation in the tuff that in ancient times was a refuge for people in times of war, as well as being a resting place for wine!

On the slopes of the Sant’Anna di Monteu Roero hamlet stands Ca 'del Crutin, a renovated country house maintaining all the characteristics of the splendid Piedmontese farmhouses.

In our crutin, the meeting point between land and wine, you can find wines from zero km wineries that maintain the pouring method still inspired by past generations.

Some wines exhibited are excellences of Roero such as the ENRICO SERAFINO CELLAR, which boasts many awards for the Chardonnay Alta Langa method, GIACOMO VICO and CANTINE DEL NEBBIOLO.

The facility has recently completed extension work to offer our guests an even more relaxing and comfortable stay. Guests can relax, read and sunbathe, perhaps tasting a good Arneis, by the new swimming pool.

It is also possible to enjoy a buffet breakfast in the brand new breakfast room or on the splendid terrace overlooking the vineyards surrounding the hotel.

Currently Ca 'del Crutin offers 6 rooms, one of which with a private terrace.

All rooms are equipped with Smart TV, minibar, courtesy trays to be able to have breakfast in your room or on the private terrace.

The beds are equipped with toppers for total comfort.
